Fats are known to make people gain more weight, but not all fats do. Yes, not all fats contribute to one’s horizontal expansion, and these are the ones you should consume, rather than the high-sodium, high-cholesterol butters which tickle your tongue’s delight. Eager to know what these are? Then check them out below.
1. Coconut Oil
Oils, especially those from corn and olive break down into fatty acids once they are digested by the body. Because of this, they allow other kinds of fats to get stored into the body, thus creating room for more pounds. Coconut oil meanwhile contains a rare kind of fat called medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs). By consuming MCTs, the fats go straight to the liver rather than circulate in the different parts of the body.
The body also needs more energy to properly digest and break down MCTs. Because of this, they have to burn 45 calories to digest the said fats.
Now, if you’re planning to include coconut oil into your diet, you can use it as a spread on your toast (as an alternative for butter). You can also use it on veggies and sautéed dishes. However, since coconut oil breaks down at extremely high heat, don’t use it for deep frying. Also, coconut oil is saturated and can help raise cholesterol levels, so try to use it alternately with other oils.
2. Enova
Enova is a traditional fat that contains only two fatty acids, unlike other which have three. Thus the body treats this kind of oil differently. Like coconut oil, Enova is processed oil, and it travels straight to the liver where it gets burned and used for body fuel.
When one uses 5- 8 teaspoons of Enova on his or her diet, they then owe 15 percent of their total daily calories from the oil, and eventually lose 1 percent of weight and around 3 percent of body fat unlike those who consumed vegetable of nearly the same amount.
Enova oil is used for salad dressings. It can also be used for baking and sautéing, but not for frying. It may change its taste and color when heated to extreme levels. Enova is also expensive, around six times as much as regular oil.

3. Nut Butters
Nut butters are capable of making you skinny because they’re not all fat-they are made up of protein, fiber and fat. And what’s great about nut butters is that they are common in the market. They can be found in Asian dishes, sauces, noodles and satays. You can also use them on toast, with the best example being peanut butter.
Aside from nut butters, you can also use whole nuts too. Whole nuts contain unsaturated fats which burn faster than other kinds of fat.
