Veggies, Nutrients and Your Body: How Things Work

Indeed veggies are among the foods we hate when we were children, mainly because they didn’t taste good as compared with cold cuts and meat. Until now we still prefer junk food and soda since they are tastier and more satisfying unlike the fresh greens available in the market. However, when it comes to nutritional value, fruits and vegetables still lead the pack.

First, you need to know how nutrients run in the body and help you become healthier, stronger and more vitalized:

  1. The human body doesn’t use animal protein as it is; it only absorbs the amino acids and short amino acid chains, then transform them into unique proteins by means of RNA molecules.
  2. The body uses around 20 amino acids, with half of them manufactured out of the 8-10 essential amino acids. This only shows that your diet should be high in amino acids since they’re the ones being used for the body’s sustenance.
  3. We not only need 10 essential amino acids; we also need protease enzymes to speed up the breaking down process of the animal proteins in order to be used effectively.
  4. If the body is low in protease enzymes, the body rather gathers larger polypeptides, which in turn create an acidic bloodstream.

So, in order to increase the protease enzymes to break down animal proteins, you need to eat veggies with high amounts of wheat grass, spirulina and chlorella. That way the digestion process flows smoothly and efficiently, and those excess proteins, carbs and fats are not stored in the body and become part of unwanted flabs.
